Directed, wrote and produced the New York Times documentary for Showtime exploring the issues surrounding the high cost of health care in the U.S. and the average American’s struggle with how to afford essential medical care.

I was awarded The New York Times Publisher’s award for this film along with Times journalist Robin Toner.

Narrated by Blythe Danner, the documentary aired alongside the Showtime original film Damaged Care starring Laura Dern.
