Making the Grade - Discovery Times

Directed, wrote, and produced the New York Times documentary that exposed the national problem with the standardized testing industry in the wake of George W. Bush’s policy “no child left behind” that mandated national standardized testing for American public school students.

Working with New York Times investigative reporters Diana Henriques and Jacques Steinberg, the film takes aim at the business of standardized testing and how the real life consequences to students caught up in the corporatization of education.
